History of Twin Rock

Twin Rock is a picturesque, 27-lot subdivision with lots ranging from 1.25 to 2.24 acres, located in the Town of Verona. Residents enjoy spacious lots, peaceful prairie views, and ample outdoor activity, all just a short drive from the city of Verona and downtown Madison.

Twin Rock sits on the former Twin Rock Dairy site, established in 1919 by Christian and Barbara Zurbuchen. The Zurbuchen’s named the farm after a pair of rock outcroppings on the property, now incorporated into lot 22 within the Twin Rock neighborhood. The Zurbuchen family lived on and ran the farm until selling the property in 2019. The Twin Rock development was designed and built near the original farmhouse and barn, paying homage to the Zurbuchen legacy through its name.
